Bel Air

60-62 Queen Street, Berry

Owner: David Farthing
Type: Town

The unusual, strong lines of ‘Bel Air’ have dictated the style of this garden. Succulents, cacti and pots, characteristic features of mid-twentieth century architecture, dominate. But Berry’s soil is not dry and impoverished so Bel Air has an additional tropical twist with plantings of an outstanding Dracaena draco, hibiscus, a giant strelitzia and a local rainforest fig.
