Community Projects
The Berry & District Garden Club is deeply committed to enhancing the Berry community and supporting local gardening initiatives.

Apex Park
The Berry & District Garden Club has played a pivotal role in enhancing Apex Park, contributing to projects such as the installation of the Rotunda, bridge construction, and the creation of a cherry tree walk with massed plantings. These efforts have transformed the park into a cherished community space, reflecting the club's dedication to beautifying Berry.

RSL Memorial
The Berry & District Garden Club actively contributes to the beautification of the RSL Memorial, particularly in preparation for Anzac Day. Members engage in pruning, weeding, digging and mulching to ensure the memorial gardens are well-maintained and presentable for the community.

Berry Courthouse
The Berry & District Garden Club has significantly contributed to the beautification of the Berry Courthouse grounds. Their efforts include the purchase and installation of a fountain and the establishment of surrounding plantings, enhancing the historic site's appeal.

George St Park
George Street Park. A special place in the hearts of many at the Berry & District Garden Club. It was funded and constructed by mostly club members on land left vacant from the Berry bypass. It will be a place that will grow into itself and be a fantastic asset to the Berry community and visitors. Working bees are held on the second Monday 9:00 am to 11:00 am (8:00 am to 10:00 am during daylight saving). Members and community are welcome.

Plant Propagation Group
The B&DGC Plant Propagation Group meets on the second Thursday, and the fourth Tuesday of the month, generally from 9am to 11am (this does change on very hot days when we sometimes meet earlier).
The group propagates plants from local gardens, learning different propagation techniques in the process. We hold regular sales throughout the year, with all proceeds going towards the beautification of Berry and other community projects.
We welcome all members of any age or ability to join us. Pottering amongst plants is a lovely way to get to know other volunteers, and we always finish up with a cuppa and something good to eat.
