Once an 1870’s schoolyard clearing in the forest, this garden has emerged from the vision of a succession of owner gardeners since the 1940s. Saplings are now mature canopy and a tide of camellias has waxed and waned. A former ocean of lawn has receded into islands connected by forest paths. Come and enjoy a controlled riot of legacy and innovation.
